Hi guys,
I just wanted to extend my gratitude to Dave, Jonny, and any other mods who have allowed us to be a part of your excellent forum.
A quick intro from myself;
My name's James Redish and I own and run Redish Motorsport - a BMW M-Power specialist in Bristol.
www.redish-motorsport.com

(Summer 2020). New photo coming Summer 2021 as there's now 8 of us as we've recently built a comprehensive in-house BMW Parts Dept (more info in a future post).
I'm on the left by the way.
I worked for BMW between 2001-2006 and had huge admiration for the iconic M Coupe shape and appeal back then.
2006-2009 I worked for a BMW Specialist in Bristol which unfortunately the owner closed due to recession challenges, and I was made redundant.
So in 2009 I started Redish Motorsport and over the past 11 years have been enjoying working solely on BMW's.
(We also have a secondary workshop next door called Redish Automotive which caters for all other BMW's outside of the specialist 'M-Power' market).
We offer a selection of complex repair procedures for BMW M-Power vehicles which concentrate mainly on the chassis and engine.
A lot of our work can be seen on our YouTube channel; Redish Motorsport
The majority of our previous works have been E46 M3's with a mix of M Coupe's.
However, over the past year we've been noticing a larger selection of M Coupe's visiting us for work, whether that be Sill Restoration, Boot Floor Repairs, Underside Restorations, Gearbox Detent Springs, Vanos work, and Conrod Bearings amongst other things.
The other reason I'm active on this forum is my imminent purchase of an M Coupe.
I haven't found one yet, but did a 200-mile round trip last night in fact to look at one, and have been trawling this forum, eBay, Autotrader, PistonHeads a couple of times a day for several weeks.
Once purchased, we aim to run a journal style thread and explore some interesting and possibly new processes with an M Coupe.
If anyone is considering selling a Silver S50 (happy to take on a 'project') please let me know.
So I thought it would be nice to try to share our findings, offer any sort of help and technical advice that may help the wider M Coupe community.
Although I've been a member since 2017, and contributed briefly in 2017 (extensive and one-off OEM Exhaust Modifications here) I'm well aware that I'm a newbie and know my place.
I'm not here to preach, show off, or step on anyone's toes.
I'm just an M Coupe fanatic who loves everything about the model, is just about to own one and embark on a whole new and exciting journey, and I want to offer any knowledge that might help others.
Please don't take my word for it though.
If you'd prefer an unbiased view just Google Redish Motorsport to see what other forums say about us, or check out our Google Reviews.
You may be wondering what will we use this section for.
To be honest, at this stage, I'm not sure.
I guess it will be nice to post some pictures of previous M Coupe's we've worked on, and even explain a little bit of what we've done - the owners may even be on this forum.
We also like to record a lot of video content of our work, so I have at least 4x long M Coupe documentary videos to finish editing and then I guess I'll upload them here to show some technical M Coupe content.
Please don't think I'm hear to 'sell' ourselves.
I'm here as an imminent M Coupe owner, and to share knowledge and anything interesting.
Many thanks for reading.
Best regards,
James R.
