    Morning all.

Can someone recommend me an OBD2 for the coupe? My mate needs one and you can’t get the Peake one anymore?
Something in that under 50 quid range if poss.

    Cheers,

    D.

Creator C110 - cheap as chips and seems to do the job perfectly.

Yes I was looking at that.

Don’t we need the round plug under the bonnet?

do you use an adaptor or the under the dash plug?

Not sure but still think you need to connect to the round plug as the obd2 under the dash will only give limited information

I have a Creator C310+ with 20pin adaptor. Works fine - very useful bit of kit. Reads codes, resets airbag lights etc.

I use a round to square plug adaptor cable. Does the job fine & resets modules, airbag etc.

                  Hi,

My MC is a Feb 1999 and doesn't have an OBD2 port under the dash.

I have Streetwise SWOBD4 scanner and just purchased a 20 pin round adaptor to connect under the bonnet, however the scanner doesn't seem to connect and comes up with an error saying it failed to connect. I had thought that OBD2 readers were pretty universal but am guessing it's not compatible.

Just wondered if anyone else has come up against this issue before I order a different scanner?

                  Many thanks

Cant help solve the issue but I will be taking my scanner to this years shows and you are more than welcome to use it.

May be worth giving the under bonnet socket a squirt of electrical cleaner as they can become corroded.

                      Thanks Dave,

I have borrowed a different scanner from a friend to see if that works, fingers crossed. If not it may be the socket as you say.

                      Cheers
