Fuel gauge issue

So it seams every time I drive the coupe some new problem pops up this time when I went to fill up this morning the fuel gauge read around 3/4 full but when I filled up the

gauge didnt move but after a couple of miles driven it went up to full? never had the gauge play up before.

Common issue on many old cars - the float failing on the sender unit - a bit of a jolt when running and it floats up to the top again and reads correctly.

Filled up today and gauge worked fine
