  • New listing - Estoril S50

Time has come to buy myself a 911, so the Z3M needs to go.

Anyway, heres the Pistonheads Ad, i'd like £12,450 for it

    Andrew - 07561 522590

    http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3748266.htm

Presented for sale is my pride and joy Z3M Coupe, which after nearly 3 years I've decided to offer for sale. This pampered and garaged car has wanted for nothing over the last few years and is presented ready for sale in near immaculate condition, having benefited from a number of essential upgrades, in addition to having all common Z3M /M3 specific 'weak' areas attended to, meaning it's ready to drive. If you've got to the Z3M section here on PistonHeads I wont bore you with the details of the car, I suspect you know them already, so instead I'll detail below the spec of this one, followed by recent work and then upgrades.

This is truly a stunning example, which was subject to a full repaint in February 2011 as I'm a little OCD and I wanted it to be 100%. It hadn't been stuffed in a hedge or anything and it was perfectly presentable, however I just wanted to get it 'right', so a full repaint, along with new badges and window seals, grilles etc was the order of the day, along with nicely refurbished OEM wheels (in shadow Chrome, by Lepsons) with new tyres!

The car is MOT'd and Taxed until June 2012 (happy to renew the MOT before it's sold), it's showing 86,487 miles (rising slowly as it's used at weekends and evenings).

    SPEC:
May 2000 Build date 'X' Reg
    S50 engine
    Estoril Blue
Estoril Blue and Black Leather trim
    Sunroof
    AC

    RECENT WORK:
    2012
Inspection 2 by trusted Specialist 'ACE Engineering' in Billingshurst, which included valve clearances, new radiator, Ester Synthetic 5-40 Oil, Vanos Filter etc
Repainted rocker cover & new gasket

    2011
    AC condensor, receiver dryer, regas
Re-enforced boot floor and differential hanger replaced (common problem on Z3M's)
Exhaust Flexi joint replaced with braided one (common problem on M3's - Performed by Phil Crouch @ CPC)
OIl Service (Ester Synthetic 5-40 Oil)
New discs & pads (Proper BMW floating disc's)

    2010
Cylinder head gasket, Rebuild Vanos seals, prop shaft donut, new main bearing shells & ARP con rod bolts (common and worthwhile upgrade)
    New clutch
    New windscreen
Oil Service (Ester Synthetic 5-40 Oil)

    UPGRADES
    H & R Anti-Roll Bars front & Rear
AC Schnitzer 'Race Coil Over Suspension' (2k+ new)
    Goodridge braided hoses
Axxis Ultimate Pads allround (September 2011)
Retrimmed steering wheel (royal steering wheels, perforated leather E46 style)
    New OEM Mats in 2011
Clarion Bluetooth headunit with iPod connectivity
    Pro-Speed Exhaust (back boxes)
    Rogue rear top mounts
    Federal RSR595 tyres (255 - 40 - 17 & 235 - 35 - 17) - August 2011
Full Respray February 2011 with new badges, window seals etc

This Z3M is ready to go, I will offer an extended test drive by myself to interested parties and am happy to allow prospective owners to drive the car based on me having the full asking price in cash in my hand before handing over the keys for the drive.

I'm not interested in tyre kickers, I'm unlikely to respond to text messages and if you're a Nigerian prince wanting to unlock your incarcerated father's fortune with my assistance, I suggest you find another mug.

Test drives are available evenings and weekends from Chessington in Surrey.

    Thanks for looking.

                  no ive never owned one
sat in many, and been a passenger in 996T. i think thats about it!

i think a 996 turbo would be a worthy upgrade! but anything less, would lead me to question the original decision to sell an MC and add ££££ to get into a 996C4S or lesser

anyway, we have this thread for cluttering up with porsche talk!

every repair starts with £1000 , from rear main to clutch to tyres to brakes .

then they smoke and rattle from cold like 50 year old beetles and cos there flat 6's they tend to heat seize for 0.001 of a millisecond causing the rings to score the bores and cause piston slap

                        i could go on .

4k for a rebuild if you remove the engine yourself .

A clutch with a RMS is £700 inc fitting and labour....

Discs are £50 each, and F&R pads are £35 each (parts only)

Service parts are cheap as chips....

996's in 3.4 or 3.6 form cost no more to run than a ZMC.....With potential bills the same if your engine corks.

Dont scare the man to death..

                              Don't scare me guys!

I just fancy a change, so depending on what's out there, I'd like either a 996 Anniversary or a 997 C2S. Both similar money (within 15%) although I suspect the Anniversary will hold its money as it's rarer.

Having said all that, I'm just waiting for mine to sell first before I start looking, as I dont have space for 2 cars off the road!

                              Cheers,
                              Andrew
