Performed an Inspection 2 service today, and will send off an oil sample just out of curiosity, not that I expect anything to be wrong.
I didn't check the valve clearances as I have an invoice for that, complete with shims etc from 3000 miles ago.
It was nice to see how neat the coil pack wiring is and how hight quality the connections are, nicely engineered.
The last coil on plug car I changed the plugs on was my Maserati 3200, that was a bit of a mess, the wiring loom had a lot of fabric tape on it that was failing, the rubber boots on the connectors needed replacing etc etc. I think the heat from the turbo's didn't help.
I will soon report back on the quicker Z3 steering rack once I've got the car allinged etc
